On my way home today, we stopped at Baja Fresh. We had a coupon for a Buy-One-Get-One-Free for the Nacho Burrito…

The Burrito is rather good. Better than a regular burrito. But you can’t really taste the chips.
However, the surprise of the lunch was the Smoky Queso Fundido. It was AMAZING!! It came with a TON of chips and was only a couple bucks for a huge thing... The picture doesn’t give it justice…

My Music

I just got the Humpty Dumpty song from 40 Days on a CD they gave to the Edge. It’s a Remixed version different from the one they played at Summer Spectacular, but it is still sweet. If you haven’t heard it, you need to. It’s crazy!!

A recommendation that is pretty retro and old-school is Newsong’s Sheltering Tree. All their songs are really good after you listen to the words. As always Casting Crowns and Hawk Nelson are awesome.
^The Links are to the respective iTunes Page.

=)

I finished Driver's Ed last night!! I'm going to take my permit test this Friday! I'm really excited. Hopefully I'll get my permit friday, then get my license a day after my birthday.

Update Summer Spec Day 5

Update

    The stuff I forgot:
  • Having a conversation about G.A.T.E. test, cheating on them, and GATE people during crafts
  • At snack on the last day having one of the girls ask me if I had a girlfriend
  • When I replied"Nope" Having them try to hook me up with her cousin, who just happened to be another girl's sister...
  • Then afte explaining I don't want a long distance relationship with someone in temecula, they tried to hook me up with another relative
  • Either a sister or a cousin
  • And this went on for a while until
  • I was like"You guys I'm NOT going to date any of ur cousins or sisters unless I already know them. Period"
  • So that was our conversation after we finished talking about high schools
Why do the kids get us gifts? To be honest, i appreciate them and all, but i would rather have them put he amount in pennies in the guys bucket so it goes to a good cause. That being said, I do like their gifts...

Summer Spectacular Day 5

The End.
We survived.
I would like to congarulate on the student leaders who served in 5th and 6th grade. All the grades are important, but the 5th & 6th graders are crazy, but they really look up to u guys.
Let me know if u want to start serving w/ them...

    Highlights of The Last Day
  • Getting attacked be 3 Cans of Silly String.
  • Soaking all my crew
  • Having some of them squirt me, while the others attacked with the silly string[How do they get so organized?]
  • Squirting Erin even after she took a squirt bottle from one of my kids to try and get me back
  • Squirting Ryan and watching his reaction
  • Seeing random kids just being asked to be squirted
  • Having one of the girls from my crew squirt Erin or Ali with me.[Don't remember who]
  • Putting my hair into a fohawk
  • Having my hair green and blue.
  • Having four people already ask me to be their student leader for next year
  • Seeing all the kids from the 9 o'clock service

This was a cool year for me, because I got to see a girl I've known since she was born, and a couple guys I've known for almost as long graduate from Summer Spectacular. It was also really cool to meet all the kids in my group and know that I mite see them at camp.
Pictures will be posted as soon as i get them. I will update this as soon as I think what highlights i forgot, cuz I know I forgot something.

Squirted all my kids.
Went up on stage for Humpty Dumpty.
Got soaked.
Got wet some more.
Watching a couple of my girls go up to a games leader and saying"You're Hot! Bye!" and then running away
Got into a squirt Bottle showdown. [It ended up being 3 against 1]
Saw one the girls from my group last year as a leader now

Getting ready for crazy hair day. This is the first time in probly 5+ years my hair has been long enough to actually do something…

Comment and show yourself...

Summer Spec Day 3

Summer Spec-Day 3-
A really fun day! Today I got wet before we had finished checking kids in. Then I got wet some more when a couple kids snuck up behind me and squirted me during crafts. Then on the way to water games I managed to get my whole crew wet. During water games, I got soaked[again] then we had snack during which I kinda dried off, then I got to freeze in the worship center. Afterwards when I was walking back to the tent, my WHOLE crew got me AGAIN Consequently, I was wet for the remainder of the day. Plus I got a polka dot of pink hairspray in my hair. Brown Crew 16 is pretty cool!

I also got both Ali and Erin wet. Erin got back at me after she used one of my kid's guns... So day 2 is over, and it was pretty fun.

Summer Spec day 1

I’m from the magnificent Crew of Brown 16. Not only do they have bandanas, they also all have squirt guns!! Summer spec was really fun.

    High Lights
  • I especially enjoyed squirting the other people I saw. So if u see my crew or myself, prepared to get wet.
  • Seeing one of my friends Nick play a senior Cadet….
  • Hearing the threats from Jami, Ali, and Erin about how I’m going to get wet…
  • Seeing my karate instructor doing all those acrobatic moves up on stage.
  • Squirting my crew and then being attacked by all 10 girls at once.
  • Then having them attack other people….

BTW, I dont like SNAPE. i don't care that he's "good"....for more reactions see the commentsbut they mite have spoilers...
2.Really bummed i missed capture the flag, but i enjoyed paintballing all that morning. Still i heard it was awesome...

CRAZY

Its crazy what a little text can do! I have this thing that tracks how many people visit my page. i just found out it tracks ur IP address, where u came from, where u r in the world and alot of other stuff. its pretty cool....

Work....

was pretty fun today. I got to teach a WHOLE class by myself. It was white belt class and we worked on nunchucku [a.k.a nunchucks] It was really fun. I din't do so bad for it being my FIRST time actually teaching a class. Sometimes, Mr.K has me warm up a class while im working but ive never actually taught a whole class! Then afterwards I got to dump sand to make the blanter look more beachy and beat up this dummy with my nunchucku. [By dummy i mean a BAG, not a person

Harry Potter

HP 5 was pretty good. As someone who has only seen the first movie[I’m working on seeing the others] I didn’t recognize some of the characters at first. But having read the books a couple times, I realized who they were. Good movie overall, but a)not nearly as good as the book and b)not even close to transformers.[better than rataouille tho]

Now I get to wait for the last book… Although I’m not one of those people who will wait in line for it, I am EXCITED. Personally I think J.K. Rowling should just have all EVERYONE die in a nuclear blast, but I doubt that’s going to happen…. Still I’m excited, especially since ill probably get it for 25 cents or at the most $1.50 from the library, and ill still get it within a few weeks. Cya guys tonite @ praise and worship….
    Movies of The Summer

  1. Transformers

  2. Harry Potter 5

  3. Ratatouille

Summer Spec Meeting

Was nice.
Saw alot of people afterwards. Stole a leader from 3rd grade to help w/ 6th grade... Saw Taylor and Bree, saw Nick & Hansel. Made a fool of myself in front of the other leaders

:p

Got a t-shirt thats not too wierd. walked around campus and said hi 2 different ppl. I really like summer spec. Especially since the 5th and 6th grade coaches r both scared of my "surprise".... which by the way is going to be awesome...but they meeting was pretty much the same old stuff.

Subscribe NOT+sidenotes

ive taken off the subscribe thingy cuz it doesnt do justice to my blog.

TRANSFORMERS WAS AMAZING!!!
Jazz and barricade were cool...

I

loved

Blackbelts/Discussion

I was thinking about this as I walked to karate
A main part of being a "black belt" is knowing how to build using the basics. For example, I ask a Dan how to do Self-D move 13. He doesn't know the particular move, but when I say groin punch, backfist from a wrist grab; he can put those together and do the move.

Logically, this should work for most other things
Learn the letters, then learn words
But for some of Christianity it doesnt seem that way, I mean I know God hates evil, but Jesus loved sinners. I know it just take some time, but sometimes it looks illogical. I lot of Christianity looks illogical, cuz we are coming from the world's view.I'm just saying we need to look at things a little more closely...

[ps]-thanks to david for challenging me a bit...

THE EDGE

I just got back from serving in the Edge, and this service was AWESOME!! There were exactly two leaders, both of us high school guys who had a great time cracking the MC up. and there were different songs from the other two services :D And the kids weren't rowdy... I really like the 6:30 Sunday cuz they actually listen to u and don't really give u a hassle. Plus they're fun
BUT, they have NO sticker ball!!!!!!!!!
