Pet Peeve

One of my pet peeves is when people leave an away message for AIM something along the lines of "At ______, call me" Why would u even go somewhere and ask people to call you. You could do that from ur house. maybe its cuz they are like me, and have ROLLOVER minutes expiring every month... Maybe no one calls them anyway?!? but I just dont get it...

Street Ball...

My neighborhood is very competitive sports wise. Maybe cuz there's only one freshman girl compared to a ton of guys in jr.high and hs. Anyway, we have have some amazing games. Sometimes its Basketball or hockey, other times its Pickle, or over the line. However, when we have the most amazing time is football. For the girls that read this, football is bragging rights and fun to guys. So we get into it, especially since we have flags!!! We got them for Christmas a couple years ago. So anyway...

We get into it. and its really fun when I can wear orange shorts and a Brees jersey and people won't say anything

We don't play that good of defense, mostly amazing offense. For example today I beat my bro 10-15. WE stopped each other maybe once. You just have to intercept it to get ahead...

karate

Reasons I LOVE Karate

• You Meet Awesome People
  
• You get to learn Jump Kicks that make Jackie Chan jealous
  
• You get to grapple and if ur lucky do submissions
  
• You get to learn how to get someone out of a chair using only two hands(kinda disgusting, but true)
  
• You get to have another family.( My class is only like 5 people)
  
• I can impress people that I'm 1/2 way to blackbelt (On Wednesday at 6 till like 8) *See below
  
• I get to attend (and sometimes lead) a really cool Bible Study
  

So ya, Ive met so many cool people from karate. All ages too.
If u want i have promotions behind the starbucks by trabuco.its a karate school(duh!). it mite be kinda boring so don't come till arund 6:30...

College

This post is about college. Hence the title. While I am a full time high school student I take spanish classes at the college. I'm in my 3rd semester and I sometimes TA. This doesn't mean I'm really smart, I've just been created to understand Spanish easily.

• College kids
  Are not that different from highschoolers. They still worry and talk about the same stuff. They're pretty cool and will generally accept you if you don't act too much like a dorkish idiot. It's cool cuz some of the people I know I've been in class with for a year already so its really fun. Most people in the class don't know that I'm only 15 1/2.

  Most sound easier than high school classes
  
• College Food
  The cafeteria is still bad, and all the same places are popular.
  
• College Girls
  Are cute, but I would rather hang with the girls I know in HS, than them!

Food

Have you ever had homemade sourdough bread before? My family just started making it, and it is amazing. So if you ever come over to our house, let us know that you want homemade sourdough.

This is something wierd about me you probably don't know. I have always called american cheese plastic cheese. My brother and I just called it that cuz it came in plastic! At places like subway we would ask parents, "What is plastic cheese again?" So there, now you know something new!

Highlights of the Meeting
• Seeng all the people I haven't seen in a while
• The atmosphere is was comical as usual.(u know what i mean)
• Making the people that came in late dance
• After making a serious list of requirments, writing down everything that should get some one kicked out of SL(i.e. Murder, Drugs, Alcohol, Streaking across campus etc...)
  

Thoughts on the meeting

Good stuff is going to happen. We have some high goals, but I think we can reach them. Seeing all the freshmen. There was probly around 15. Thats AWESOME because last year there was like 5. So it's awesome that we are getting the freshmen involved.(Blog w/ thoughts the freshmen class might be upcoming) Also it was funny to see how some of the tables get segregated by guys at one, girls at the other. Our table was going to so some funny stuff for this one activity, but we decided not when we saw how serious everyone else was.(^see above)

Everything else

• Throwing candy at the other leaders in the edge is just way too much fun.
  
• Transformers is an amazing game. One of my favorites. Just don't use the cheats because it takes away the sense of accomplishment.
• HSM 2 was ok. I liked "I Don't Dance" I'm not really a big fan, but it was good. Just annoying when u have a brother humming "You Are The Music In Me"...
  

Driver's Training/ P&W

Driver’s Training is fun.
• Tuesday I drove all the way to San Juan.
• Today I just drove around.
• I think I’m getting better =P

Praise and Worship was AWESOME.
• The main reason was one of my best friends getting baptized.
• It was sweet.
• Walked down to MC 2[exciting]
  
• Got to see some people I haven’t seen in a while [Grant, Garret, and a couple others]
  
• Became Guo from Morocco
  
• Watched the MC2 lunchroom packed with around 90 people
  
• It’s hard to explain, but the experience was cool.

Passion...

I've noticed recently that there are some things i get really passionate over. Sometimes i get why im that way, and other times i have no idea.For example I'm really passionate about worship through music. I used to not do stuff like hold my hands up or whatever cuz of what people(cute girls specifically) mite think. Then I realized thatI shouldnt even be thinking about them if that would turn them off. Another thing would be youth ministry[rite now this means the edge] I'm not sure why but, I know that God has made me passionate about these kids. An example would be up at camp were I made sure none of my guys made fun of a girl they say cry[not going to post why] For some reason I was passionate about that. But in the end, I think its a good thing...

PS-Looked on iTunes today and pre-ordered the new Casting Crowns Album:D Saw that the HSM 2 album was up. Some good songs on it. Especially "I don't dance"
PPS-My tooth is SO loose. Its almost coming out!! :D

The Kids

My kids were amazing. really fun and cool. thats all the kids not just those in my cabin. I got to see a ton of kids i already knew so that was extremely fun. i learned one of the girls from my summer spec group knew the girl from my dojang. i also got to know my cabin guys more too.

The band

Was awesome. went well with the "playback" theme cuz they played mostly songs from when i was around the kids age and at camp

The Nicknames

were hilarious. just call me the magnet...

The Purple

So to keep the girls away from the guys, the staff uses purple. basicly guys are blue and girls are pink. Mixing is making purple So anything and the kids are like "they're making purple!!!!!!!" if u even just talk to someone else from the other sex.

So its really funny and kinda annoying. The other 1/2 of this subject was my cabin. It was HILARIOUS to watch my guys' reactions to the flirtacious advances of one of the other cabins. they were just plain annoyed by them. so we bombed their cabin with water ballons =p It coulda been worse... At least they were what my guys called "hot" girls and not some little geeky 4th graders... Anyway, that was funny:D

The Foil

Before I continue, I admit I tried to copy Taffy for decorating my cabin with foil. It is MUCH HARDERThan it looks. All the foil ended being used as foil balls thrown around at people.

overall a good week. For those of you who think I shoulda gone to Hume, read the middle of Romans 12:16. The kids may seem unimportant, but they aren't....

• 112 children accepted Christ during Easter
  
• 160 Kids Small Group 6th grade graduates
  
• 120 Kids Small Group 6th graders, their parents and leaders served on a mission trip to Mexico
  
• 20 All STARS staff, children and parents ministered in Rwanda
  
• Summer Spectacular was amazing! We had 3,000 children, 970 volunteers, and most importantly, 193 children gave their lives to Christ.
  
• 350 children are leaving Monday for Children’s Leadership Camp in Big Bear."

It was extremely fun to see people I know now when they were really little… People like Larson is in one of them when he is in 4thGrade, or Brea Eastman in 5th or 6th Grade. Ange was also in there A LOT! I also saw people from my Ensenada village I didn’t know back then. Plus all the friends I haven’t seen in such a long time. And my first crush…I’m not going to post her name so don’t even ask! = P So it was really fun to see how everyone has grown.
