What If?

What If?

We tried to love everyone?
We listened?
We cared?
WHAT IF?
There was no poverty?
No Racism?
No more curable diseases?
No unjust wars?
No more abortions?

What If?
We lived what we believed?
We helped others live that way?
 They started doing the same?
What If...

What IF...

that is a super loaded question..

If this was a perfect world, we would not need

--a church
==GOD
==FRIENDS
==wouldn't need to drive a car or ride a bike since there would be someone to do it
==wouldn't need to clean the house as it would be done automatically

I'm glad we don't live in a perfect world, and there are many WHAT ifs, to go around, question is are you going to be the person to stand up and say Lets Change one step at a time?

Sorry for the long post but you hit a nerve with this one...

If this world was perfect, we wouldn't have learned ANYTHING about forgiveness. That's probably another reason for a imperfect world. Also this world was perfect, we wouldn't have the mistakes that lead us onto the right path. God's path for us.

Let me clarify.

All I meant was, What would the result be if Christians started to fix these problems.

I wish merely that ALL christians would step up.

In addition, i am saying this just for other people.
I'm well aware that often I lack in some of these areas.
This post was inspired by a song that goes
In my Life, Be Lifted Up
In Our world, Be lifted Up
In My Love, Be lifted Up.

. . . Wow. I hope for goodness sake you guys weren’t actually thankful that we have an imperfect world full of sin, suffering, and Satan, because if you were I don’t even know how to respond. I also don’t even know how to respond when you talk about us not being able to follow God’s plan for us in a perfect world. Is heaven not perfect? In heaven will we not be serving God’s plan for our lives better than ever before.
Your comments make it sound as if God is OVERJOYED that we live in an imperfect world because that allows for “Church and God” as you put it Ernie b. Here is my question. In heaven, which is perfect(I hope we can all agree on that), is God not present? Is the church not gathered before his throne praising him more than ever before? Ergo, are not both God and the Church present in light of perfection? Is that not the perfection that you so utterly disdain in your response.
Maxdoggie, are you saying that mistakes are what lead us to God? Though I do not deny this is true in some cases, this would also imply that it is a mistake that we ever go to God. More than anything, though, this post states “What if” multiple times. The way this statement is formulated throughout the paragraph is an action, not a thought. Listening, loving, caring, acting on our beliefs, all are actions. This post could have just as easily been posted as “Let’s change… and love everyone, Let’s change and listen… ect.”
You think that his post hit a nerve with you imagine how large a nerve you hit when you stated your HAPPINESS that we live in an imperfect world. He doesn’t say a perfect world even. He said the exact same thing you did. What if we started changing the world one step at a time.
This imperfect world that came about because of sin which separates us from God. If that’s the imperfection you so yearn for, that separation from God, by all means explain why it is that you desire. According to your argument, though, it appears that you both do love God, so it is completely beyond me why you would wish for imperfection. In other words, sin to separate us from God. That I cannot even begin to understand.

Okay I knew this would get out of context.. let me explain this in a different way

WHAT IF there WAS NO CHURCH
what if there was no family
what if we didn't have a support group
what if we didn't have a method of transportation
what if we didn't have anyone to love and to be loved?
what if we didn't have anyone there to be able to talk to?

Someone mentioned perfect.. When we physically die, our spirit will always remain and it will be perfect!

Okay I'm done ranting here
