Responsibility

Lately ive been thinking about responsibility a lot.
Here's why.
I just turned sixteen. That means I can DRIVE. In addition when I turned 16, my parents said they would let me start dating if i wanted to. now those are two really big things 2 be responsible 4.
Driving and I have a love/hate relationship. I love the feel and freedom of being able to drive myself places. On the other hand, i hate it. i HATE having the power to end someones life in my hands. thats alot of responsibility.

Before i talk about dating let me clarify for the grandparents, i am not dating. It's alot of responsibility. u r not only putting ur feelings in someone else's hands, but u are pretty much responsible for theirs. And then theres not wanting to lose the friendship of a girl when things dont work out. That is probly the biggest reason i wont ask a girl out. its just NOT worth losing a friendship to get a gf for a while...
anyways, hope u enjoyed my ramblings

ps-nixon didnt do well with responsibility...(im reading watergate)

Josh,
I think your off to a great START. You are 16 and realize and care about the power of being responsible (or not). Stand strong.

I got my license when one month BEFORE my 16th birthday, It comes with lots of emotions and thoughts. For most people its their ticket to the world (freedom) I always thought of it as a privilege, and with that I respect the thing that I carry in my wallet everyday. I am a very safe driver, but neverless I am always on guard for the unknown, and yes I have had 2 friends thus far killed in an auto accident. So with that being said, the best advice I can give, is be aware of your surrounds, and don't let peer pressure dictate the driving.

When I started driving I drove a Ford Escort that was run by Diesel and now I drive a HONDA Odyssey!
