So last nite/this morning was prom. This is the story of how it went down...

So first we went to go pickup Macie and Halle who I was carpooling with. After waiting for them to get ready, we left. We headed to the Rainforest cafe where we met some NHS ppl for dinner. That was a fun time. Eventually we went over to the dland hotel. First we took pictures, then we went inside. We got there late so everyone was already there. It was really sweet cuz I knew literally more than 1/2 the people there. =D All the cools kids from drama, people from mocktrial, and just other random people I know. It was nice because they played some recent hits, but alot were classics. Ex:Rocky Horror Picture Show, Summer Nights From Grease, Some beatles. One of the only bad things about prom and dances in general is that I knew maybe 2 or 3 of the current songs... (I'm sheltered(from music)) But it was really fun cuz there was like no freaking. Which is kinda nice. Alot of group dancing and just having a goodtime. After that for 3 hours(too short) we went to disneyland for a little while and rode Matterhorn and spacemountain. While we got lotsa stares, no one asked us why we were dressed up. =(
then we drove home and i went to bed around 2am

So at my school theres a guy named Marcus.
he reads my blog, but thats not y im blogging about him.

Marcus is the most complex person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
First, he is someone who really thinks things through.
Second, he is very eloquent. he was an attorney on mocktrial and won a prestigious award
Third he one of my only friends that is a) an atheist and b)gay
Fourth,he doesn't fit any stereotypes. He is very liberal, but also conservative on some issues.

In addition to this, he also knows like 12+ languages fluently. And he has studied almost every other one.

So this is a shoutout to a very cool person...

Disneyland

So yesterday I went to disneyland with about 10 other people from my school. It was really fun.

WE screamed on EVERY RIDE and by the end couldn't scream anymore.

WE had a good time ditching people(going the other way when they were walking out in front.


All in all, glad I have a d-land pass again!

Update on Friday

Yesterday we went over to the Charleston shipyards. We saw the U.S.S Constitution and a World War 2 battleship. Easily one of the best things I've done here. Anyways, after everything was said and done we literally walked across the city and back. No joke!

Update?

Yesterday we went down to Harvard.

But we didn't take the regular way.

Instead we took the scenic route and found a sandwich shop.



The museum was pretty good. After that we went to the JFK Prezidential library.

Also excellent. It was in South Boston so think of USC's neigborhood. It's nice, but a rough area.



Then we went downtown, met my dad and went to Legal Seafoods

It was overpriced, but thats seafood. It was excellent and delicious.



Then we came back to the hotel and watched AI Gives Back.



Sidenote:If you ever want to play minigolf, go to Cape Cod. There is at least 1 every 4 blocks(maybe) And theyre not just the rtegular kind. All extreme. Different themes. they're literally insane! and there EVERYWHERE!!!

Day 3

Day 3 was really good

First we got lost in the suburbs of Boston looking for the Park Place Hotel(its not on park place road)

Then we went to Salem.
Didn't go to any witch museums. Too creepy

We did go past the Green Gables.
And we did stop at this amazing restaurant.

Inside was this man. And this man was what you think the perfect crass Bostonian.
Accent, attitude, everything!
I got a nacho dog and it was amazing.

I love Bostonian food.


Then we went to the site that marks the beginning of our country.

Lexington & Concord

It was really cool to think this is where it all started.

Then we went back into town.
Ate dinner at the hotel.

Then after the pool, we met our friend who got accepted to Harvard again for ice cream.
after that, we left to sleep.

Now an example of Boston and sports.

The hotel shuttle driver work from 6am-11pm and the started again at 6am the next morning(yesterday) just so he could get off to watch the red Sox. Thats how fanatical they are.

Flashbacks From Florida

A while ago, we went to Florida. We got into Fort Lauderdale in the morning and then drove down to the southernmost point. It was insane. We drove more that day than we did in a year regularly. Then now this trip we did the same. Arrived in Boston, drove the whole day to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Plymouth. We went in the same ocean, driving the same type of car, and the only difference was the water was cold this time. =p

I am writing this looking out upon the skyline of Boston. It is amazing. Our trip has also been amazing. We drove down to San Diego Friday afternoon. Once there, we ate Chipotle and then went to the airport. We waited for a little while, then boarded our plane. We were flying jetBlue. This meant we got tvs in our headrests. This made our 4 hour trip bearable. The only other notable happening on our plane were the girls in front of us. There were 3 of them; probably seniors. They were from Torrey Pine HS, and were all blond cheerleaders. Before the flight, they were taking the typical teenage girl, “myspace pics”. Holding the camera up at an angle, and then squeezing together and making faces. However, it was funny cuz my brother, Chase, poked his head up behind their chairs and stuck his head in their pic. Then they turned around, laughed and said, “haha. Niice. We kinda wanted u guys 2 b in it” The rest of the flight was uneventful. Just Letterman and Conan. I eventually fell asleep. Woke up and we're were in Bosto. At 5am local time =( we went got our luggage, saw those girls twice(*coughstalkers*cough) and rode a sweet shuttle to get our pimped out minivan. Then we drove the whole day whiched caused me to have flashbacks(thats another post) Got to our hotel and we're on the concierge floor =D

We enjoyed the fancy snacks. Then we left and went to a Wal-Mart. This Wal-Mart was in a low-income area. It was really sad, and I felt really awkward. Its just so thought provoking to go from a room for the rich and famous(plus us) to a trashed wal-mart...
