Compton Summary

Compton was really cool. I felt like I was in Mexico.
=/

HSM brought about 70 kids. Along with about the same number of kids from other churches we worked on beautifying a school.

It was really hard work but really sweet.
I started going along and scrapping old paint of the fence. I then moved on to cleaning up the brush into trash bags. I finished with a lil painting.
Really cool to see how much better it looked.

It was sweet cause we traveled in the same vans the whole time so we got to know each other. It's interesting to see the difference between girls that have been to church alot of girls who haven't just in  our bus...

Overall, a great day.
 Hung with Joe, Jason, and Matt Olson and met some nice girls...

I finished it at 1 o'clock today.
That's about 6-7 hours total...
Pretty good, though not my favorite cause it is a lead in to book 4...

Eating With Big Groups

So every Thursday, a couple friends and I go to a local eatery for lunch and to hang out till our next class (about an 1 hr) Usually, there's 3 or 4 of us. Today tho, there was 15+...

Then tonight was dinner with all the edge leaders at chili's. Another big group. 

Here is just an observation...

 I like to just listen and don't talk that much. I'm just like that.

(Ir)rational Fear # 2

I have a fear of burning myself. Like I don't like to use the oven cause I'm afraid I'll hurt myself. Even getting stuff out of the toaster oven, I do it super carefully.  There is a reason though. See when I was little, when I was 3, years old we went down to camp at Doheny beach with some friends. Of course we had fires at night. The next morning, I was playing near it and fell in. Like literally into the coals and the metal firepit. Miraculously, I survived with only I few scars on my arms. today you can hardly see them. It could have been so much worse. But to this day I have an innate fear of buning myself...

Skate Scene

I love that we now have a skate scene at the Refinery. It's not really the people I usually hang out with, but I'm so happy that we have a safe place for the kids to hang out.
Right now its just a few kids, but I can see that its going to grow because its a sweet park. If I was still into skating, I definitely would break out my blades...

Irrational Fear #1

I have an irrational fear of people breaking into my house. like honestly, I know break-ins happen, but I live in a safe neighborhood in a really safe series. I mean, really it doesn't make sense. I even have a staff within hand's reach in case someone wakes me up while I'm sleeping. That's if I don't have time to get to my German Officer's Sword...

1.My dad trained with me. =)
He did really well and had fun.
2. I got Best Of the Test on my last testing.

Driving Habits

Let me start off by saying I am an excellent driver. However, I do have some interesting habits...
Before I was allowed to listen to the radio, I would talk to myself so it wasn't silent. Now that I listen to 104.3, I start singing along with the choruses.

We are getting a few new neighbors in the next couple months. Hopefully, it'll either be a)someone my age(Finally) b)a cute girl =p c) martial arts family or d)someone from saddleback or e)a cute female martial artist my age that goes to saddleback =p

Me

Last week, one of the other kids on yearbook made a comment on how I'm ALWAYS smiling. I just can't stop. It's just how I am. It's hard cuz when I try to make a joke, I can NEVER keep a straight face.

A couple weeks ago Jeff Baker made a comment about how he had never seen me mad. I was thinking about this and realized that no one outside my family has  ever seen me REALLY mad. I just don't get mad easily. If anything I just get frustrated.

The Few things that make me mad

• People picking on someone who can't defend themselves
• People not agreeing with me on something I feel extremely passionate about

The person I get mad at the most is... myself.

Relationship Status

I love how social networks always ask for my relationship status. They make it sound so simple. My friend asked me about my "relationship status" so this is what I sent her

Idk rite now,
but I've realized that all girls are attractive physically, but its really more about their heart and what is on the inside. I know it sounds cheezy but honestly, I would rather date a girl other people call plain, but has a heart for God than date a shallow bombshell. =/

Girls are on the same wavelength telepathically. Especially if they hang out with each other.
Guys are on the same speaking wavelength. However, those two things are completely separate. If a guy ever says something a girl think is funny, its blind luck. Really, it is...
