Better Late Than Never...

1) What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Really connected to my small group, liked dancing, been a leader by myself at camp, got a job

2) Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't really have any, and Yes but they are starting small.


3) Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope, Amy got married tho?

4) Did anyone close to you die?
Bravo. =(

5) What countries did you visit?
Stayed in the US this year.

6) What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A steady relationship with God not relying on events...and a girlfriend would be nice.

7) What date(s) from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I honestly don't have any dates besides 6/7/8 and 8/8/8

8) What was your biggest achievement of the year? 

Well I was nominated for the Bentley Tomorrow 25 (Wish me luck) and Voted Best Friend for Juniors. 
Oh and I got Best of the Test =)

9) Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got sick alot more than usual.


10) What was the best thing you bought?
I don't keep track of that stuff. I gave some ligitimate christmas gifts though

11) Whose behavior merited celebration?

My small group was amazing this year

12) Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
People who call themselves Christians yet follow the negative stereotypes. 

I'm not saying "Everything is right" but we should LOVE people first.

13) Where did most of your money go?

14) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
PDYM SLC, Camp, Summer Spectacular,

15) What song will always remind you of 2008?
Please don't stop the music and just dance even though I don't own either of them.

16) Compared to this time last year, are you: Wiser? Sure Healthier? Ehh, kinda Richer? I guess now that I have a job.

17) What do you wish you'd done more of?
This sounds uber corny, but believed in myself more early on

Wasted time doing nothing

With family and at the edge

Honestly, can't say I have

Pysch, Survivor 20000000000, AI, Chargers Football, Colbert Report

I don't hate anyone actually

Irresistible Revolution or Blue Like Jazz

So many. And I need more por favor

A new cellphone, great friends, and a job. I also got connected at school =)

Well, I wanted a girlfriend for most of the year and that limited me alot...

Dark Knight or Ironman

16, we had a party. it was awesome

Stephen Colbert

30) How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Classy, well dressed, but personal and fun. Blues, greys, and blacks.

Small group and my female friends i don't stop texting

Bravo, friends that went to college

Hmm, theres alot. One was that, I can't let some girl define me because I'll always be let down.

Friends

Time

I'm not sure I can pick just one...but Cory would be pretty high up there.

So many others though. Especially in drama during the beginning of the year!

Hey Josh. I hopped over here from Matt's blog after reading your comment. I also really like Blue Like Jazz and read it last year. Miller's next book Searching for God Knows What is awesome as well.

However, I really didn't like Irresistible Revolution very much. A group of us read it on a mission trip to New Orleans this summer and all kind of had the same opinion of it. I really liked the beginning of the book but the farther along I got in the book, the less I enjoyed it. I'm not sure but I just kind of view Shane Claiborne as a bit of a hypocrite.

Maybe you could tell me your thoughts about it and why you liked it so much. I'd really like to know. Maybe I need to reevaluate it.
