New Mexico

I love mission trips and the set of experiences, struggles and triumphs they bring.
Most youth group mission trips go to Mexico. This becomes harder to do when Mexico is ranked the 2nd most dangerous country to travel to, only under Iran. Juarez, Mexico is the most dangerous city in the world. So, HSM decided to go to New Mexico; Specifically the Navajo Reservation. I'm so excited because this environment will stretch us(and me) in totally different ways than Ensenada did in the past. While there will not be a language barrier, the Navajo have a completely different way of life.

All that being said, we need prayer. Lots of it. =)
For those of you who don't know about HSM spring break trips, they are run by students. Each group of 12-15 students has 2-3 student leaders. These leaders are responsible for making decisions, connecting their village together, and pastoring their students.
As one of these leaders, please pray for me =)

Here's how 'bad' I am: I'm tired of hearing young people go to Mexico when we have plenty of American here in this country who could use a lot of help. Seems like every group I've heard of goes to Mexico first.

I'll say a prayer for yoU!
